The good news is there is more and more about Bob Shaw online coming to (my) attention. Dave Langford over at Ansible was kind enough to provide a link to an interview with Bob Shaw from 1976 so I’ll do an update. Thanks for this link Dave.

Firstly the (very informative) interview; you need a user name and password but everything is explained on the page itself.

A slight update to the bibliography. I noted that there were differences in the dates of the two different editions of the bibliography of Bob Shaw that I have, one from the eighties one bought more recently.

Phil Stephensen-Payne at Galactic Central has notified me that initially the dating was whenever the bibliography was issued, major alterations or minor additions, but later on a more robust system was introduced for clarity. It was all changed when Borgo Press started issuing copies. I’ll have to google them and see if any editions are available. I also note the new edition is more comprehensive in its’ catagorisation.

It could be that there are a bunch of people out there with a one off Bob Shaw (and not just Bob Shaw, Galactic Central produce bibliographies of a lot of writers) bibliography and indeed my copy could be a one off.
